POSITION: Bed Truck DriverJOB TYPE: Full Time (Contract Drivers Accepted)LOCATION: Grande Prairie, AlbertaJOB SUMMARY:The Agency is assisting T-Ruckin Oilfield Services Ltd. in the recruitment of a full time Bed Truck Driver. T-Ruckin Oilfield Services Ltd. is a growing provider of oilfield rig moving services throughout Northern Alberta and British Columbia. With locations in both Edson and Grande Prairie, we offer over 10 years of experience in oilfield rig moving, striving to develop mutually beneficial long-term relationships with our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of various heavy loads using a bed truck. This is a vital role in our operations, and we are looking for someone who is experienced, safety-conscious, and dedicated to delivering exceptional service.RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Safely operate a bed truck to transport and deliver heavy equipment, materials, and supplies to designated locations.
  • Secure loads properly and ensure they are balanced for safe transportation.
  • Perform pre-trip inspections of the bed truck and its components to ensure safe operation
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and team members to coordinate logistics and ensure timely delivery
  • Attend safety meetings
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance performed
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of the bed truck to ensure its proper functioning
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all time
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Valid Class 1 drivers license and/or class 3 with air brakes and a clean driving record
  • Current certifications an asset:
    • H2S, First Aid, CSO
  • Proper PPE
    • Fire retardant coveralls, Gloves, Hard hat, Steel toed boots, Safety glasses, Hearing protection
  • Ability to safely operate a bed truck and handle various loads
  • Physical fitness and ability to perform tasks that may involve heavy lifting, climbing, and working in various weather conditions
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members, dispatchers, and clients
  • Familiarity with basic maintenance procedures and ability to troubleshoot minor issues with the bed truck
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to oil field operations
  • Commitment to safety, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic
