Your journey towards a thrilling career starts right here!These are permanent positions in Grande Prairie or Fort St. John, with relocation assistance available for eligible candidates.What would you be doing- Assist in installing, calibrating, and maintaining process instrumentation, communication networks, and control equipment, such as flow computers, tank gauging systems, and metering equipment.- Analyze data from SCADA systems, LOI displays, and P amp;ID drawings to ensure safe facility operation.- Aid in the programming and troubleshooting of Local Operator Interfaces and Programmable Logic Controllers.- Assist with troubleshooting electrical, instrumentation, and control equipment issues.- Provide entry-level instrumentation support and maintenance to enhance system reliability.- Utilize testing devices to inspect and diagnose instrument and system operations.- Participate in repairing, maintaining, and adjusting system components, including replacing defective parts as needed.Does this sound like you- Have an apprentice or Instrumentation Technician Certificate.- Valid and up-to-date safety tickets: H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, Fall Protection, and AWP.- Willing to relocate to Fort St. John or Grande Prairie.- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.- Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shovelling, bending, twisting, etc.Perks of the job- Relocation Assistance.- Competitive Rates.- Benefits after 300+ hours worked.- Opportunity to get home every night.- Financial assistance provided for Apprentices working towards their Journeyperson certification.Other important detailsThis position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of a drug and alcohol testing.Why FLINTFLINT strivesevery dayto be recognized as your employer of choice, modelling our core values not only to our customers but also to our employees.
