Those who love a challenge and get excited at the prospect of collaborating with talented people to continuously improve and innovate on tasks both large and small.We are actively seeking a Senior Maintenance Foreman to join our team in Grande Prairie, Alberta. Reporting to the Montney Operations Manager, the Senior Maintenance Foreman will be responsible for managing and providing maintenance leadership for facility and field electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, automation and turnaround requirements. They will oversee the coordination of all preventativeamp; corrective maintenance planning, continued equipment operation reliability, reporting, regulatory compliance, and turnaround activities.Essential Functions:

  • Managing a diverse team of tradespeople (employee / contractor) to support a reliability based comprehensive maintenance management program (EAM - Maximo).
  • Communicate and liaise directly with the operations departments to coordinate maintenance and repair work and ensure a quick turn around and return of repairs.
  • Provide creative solutions and effective problem solving of issues that arise within the fieldamp; facilities environment i.e., troubleshooting, flagging deficiencies and recommending changes to current practices.
  • Maintaining and refining equipment reliability and integrity programs to meet proactive maintenance objectives; anticipate potential failures and work towards eliminating reactive equipment breakdowns.
  • Bring forth R amp;D to improve operational efficiencies, equipment longevity, reduced PM requirements and downtime.
  • Development of reporting KPI #39;s to monitor work is performed and documented to an appropriate quality level and that it complies with Strathcona Resources policies, applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting projects and assists in project planning. Ensuring equipment selection is most practicably suited for operations and maintenance requirements.
  • Provide overall supervision, guidance, direction, and development of staff. This includes hiring, promotion, coaching, mentorship, training, performance management, and movement of employees within the business units.
  • Manages Critical Spare Equipment Inventory and budget for assigned area.
  • Maintainable / Trackable / Regulatory Compliance equipment record and documentation accuracy.
  • Accountable for development and stewardship of Maintenance KPI reporting.
  • Accountable for adherence to defined Maintenance Management Practices including PM completion, accurate record retention, and regulatory compliance.
  • Interface with Engineering on additions, deletions of modifications to PM procedures as changes to plant configuration.
  • Attend MOC project meetings and act as primary Maintenance stakeholder for execution approval.
  • Aid in the development, implement and annual operating expense budget. Act as stakeholder within the annual Capital budget program
  • Preparation and presentation of QTU Maintenance reporting.
Qualifications Include:
  • Minimum 10 years of related experience.
  • Completion of post-secondary qualification preferred.
  • Extensive working knowledge of oil and gas well operations, various EOR processes, facility types and the associated equipment.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, automation requirements.
  • Previous experience in people management; budget management, and resource management
  • Strong organization, planning skills and ability to interact with all levels of company personnel.
  • Committed to continuous improvement, self and team development.
  • Demonstrated high level analytical skills, attention to detail.
  • Extensive understanding of regulations.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Working knowledge of Maximo considered an asset.
