The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of sour oil and gas wells. You will work on a rotating schedule of 10-hour days, with 8 days on and 6 days off. This is a full-time position offering competitive wages, starting at $40 per hour, with the opportunity for advancement based on experience and performance.Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain sour oil and gas wells safely and in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor and adjust equipment to ensure optimal production levels.
  • Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of production equipment.
  • Record production data and report any issues or abnormalities.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Work closely with field teams to support overall production goals.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience operating sour oil and gas wells.
  • Strong understanding of oil and gas production processes, including the handling of sour gas.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols related to sour wells.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field.
  • Valid safety certifications (H2S Alive, First Aid, WHMIS, etc.) are an asset.
  • A valid driver #39;s license and reliable transportation are required.
