Job Description

Day of Wedding Coordinator (DOWC) is searching for an individual thats passionate about all things wedding and events and knows how to provide exceptional customer service. You are a friendly and energetic person that doesnt easily shy away from challenges and is looking to join a growing Wedding Planning business. Your unique personality is your brand. If you are a professional with great people skills and are looking for a fun and hands-on environment, this could be a good fit for you.

  • Assist the onsite Lead Planner
  • May be required to attend pre-event day meetings, rehearsals etc. Setup at church and/or venue. This may include but is not limited to signage, place cards, menu, table numbers, guest favors, candles, gift table items, seating chart and more.
  • Check floor plans to ensure accuracy.
  • Ensure vendors have arrived and setup on time.
  • Cross check details sheet to ensure all have been accounted for.
  • Work in conjunction with the onsite Lead Planner to help manage and oversee timeline execution.
  • Ensure bride & groom satisfaction and guest satisfaction.

Job Details:
  • Part time/contract/freelance; mostly weekends, some weekdays, mainly 12+ hours at the day of the event.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with wedding planning and event management.
  • Scholastic background in event management preferred, but NOT required.
  • Will require drivers license and access to a vehicle.
  • Travel is required in Toronto, GTA, Hamilton and Niagara.
  • Professional attire is required while onsite.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual, Freelance, SeasonalSalary: $18.00 per hourSchedule:
  • 12 hour shift
  • Weekend availability
