Job Description

Job Posting:Ready For a Tasty New ChallengeOverviewThe IT Project Manager will work as part of the PMO team. Under this supervision you will lead the successful delivery of multiple projects over their entire life cycle. The position requires knowledge of project management tools and methods and proven experience in developing, implementing and supporting delivery and project management best practices. Types of projects include hardware and software implementations, where software ranges from the development and implementation of custom software applications to enterprise wide software.What Wonderbrands Offers:

Responsibilities
  • Lead discussions on the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Develop and track against a detailed project schedule and work plan including systems integrations, from planning through to the deployment phases
  • Actively monitor program dependencies and escalate early warning signs and deviations from project plans
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project budget using appropriate verification techniques
  • Lead the defect management process across multiple phases of delivery, including test cycles, training deployment, cutover and hyper care periods. Facilitate defect reporting, monitoring, escalation and closure activities
  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas and content, prepare and distribute clear and detailed minutes on a timely basis, recording, communicating and following up on action items and maintaining project distribution lists.
  • Lead the development and implementation of the change control process to drive tracking, awareness and preparedness of program change requests. Support the regular reporting of in-flights change requests and overall project impacts
  • Manage project activities other cross functional program delivery activities such as Organizational Change Management, Requirements Management, Business Process Management, Testing Management
  • Develop a project cutover plan and manage the execution of cutover activities
  • Ensure that all project phases are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques (Service Now ITBM knowledge is a plus)
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the team and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation as per approved artifact check list for each of the projects
  • Meet with the project team to clarify specific requirements
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, business, or a related field
  • 5 - 8 years of project management and related experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
  • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
  • Can conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
