At Brock Doors & Windows Ltd, we install the vinyl windows and doors across the Greater Toronto Area and Simcoe County. Brock has been in the industry for over 30 years. We have 4 award winning showrooms in Brampton, Etobicoke, Whitby and Innisfil. We are a dynamic, forward-thinking company that offers growth opportunities and exceptional learning experiences.Role and Responsibilities: Were looking for a skilled Installation Manager ideally with carpentry experience who can manage and address technical issues including repair-work arising post installation. Our ideal candidate will be motivated and ambitious, a team player with a strong work ethic. Prior experience performing high end finish work and managing projects is required. There is a lot of opportunity for you to grow in this role. This position reports to the Director of Operations. We offer full-time, permanent year-round employment, competitive wages, benefits and perks like flexible schedule, vacation time.Primary Responsibilities:
  • Check-in with the crews, to review projects of the day, set expectations, answer any questions
  • Examine job competitions time and discuss any pending issues.
  • Manage Installation supervisors and crews
  • Create job plans and schedules
  • Follow-up with previous projects and outstanding items
  • Attend customer site and evaluate the crew performance, job status, and customer satisfaction. Perform final quality check and answer questions
  • Provide excellent customer service; advise customer of issues and possible solutions while being courteous and kind
  • Work closely with PC and Purchasing teams to address and resolve questions/issues related to complex jobs
  • Review templates and CADD drawings, adjust if required
  • Oversee 3 warehouses
  • Flexibility to work occasional weekends
Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in residential Window and/or Door installation, or
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with trim (casings) work and framing in construction renovation projects or a related field
  • Knowledge in adhering to all health & safety practices with a working knowledge of relevant Ministry of Labour requirements.
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience
  • Excellent Customer Service skills with strength in negotiation
  • Good professional English verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to read/interpret drawings and architectural details.
  • Demonstrated record of reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Possesses an Ontario G Class Driver License, reliable vehicle, and excellent knowledge of Central Ontario area
  • Must pass a criminal record, driver’s abstract and reference background checks
