Westburne, a division of Rexel Canada Electrical Inc., is a leader in electrical product distribution, participating in the commercial, residential, industrial and institutional markets across Canada.Westburne is currently seeking a Services Delivery Technician based out of the Greater Toronto / Southwestern Ontario Area.The Services Delivery Technician is responsible for delivering on-site services that support customer operations in process and discrete manufacturing. The Services Delivery Technician is a dynamic role with both technical and customer relations responsibilities, including, but not limited to:Technical ResponsibilitiesExecute documented services procedures at customer facilities.Perform start-up & commissioning services for Rockwell Automation Variable Frequency Drives.Collect customer installed base information through site walk-through and use of data collection tools.Assist in the development of risk remediation plans utilizing installed base assessment information.Perform on-site collection of lock out/tag out policy, procedure and compliance information.Demonstrate core competency around Rockwell Automation products and associated manufacturing technology.Customer RelationsAct as representative of Westburne while performing services on customer equipment and applications.Develop Relationships with customer stakeholders.Present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.Articulate the value of the services offering to customers during the lifecycle of the engagement.Determine customer problems, needs and goals and identify opportunities for products and services outside of the scope of the original engagement.Document work activities in a clear and professional report format.Perform on-site management of customer storeroom assets and repair programs.Assist in the clarification and resolution of customer issues.QUALIFICATIONSEducation: Licensed Construction & Maintenance Electrician (309A), Industrial Electrician (442A) or Field Service Technician in an industrial environment.Experience: Minimum of 2 years as an Industrial Electrician or equivalent hands-on work experience.Desired Skills:Understanding safe work practices and risk management in an industrial environment, including utilizing personal protective equipment as required.Experience with Arc Flash & Lock out/Tag out safety procedures is an asset.Time management, organizational and problem-solving proficiency.Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.Experience with Microsoft Office suite.Technical understanding of industrial automation systems.Awareness of manufacturing business drivers.Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing demands.Self-motivated and results-oriented.A valid driver's licence and passport will be required for this position.What Is NextIf this is the right position for you, click apply.We thank all candidates for their interest, however, only candidates selected for interviews will be contacted.If you require any accommodation in the application process, please contact us with the “Need Help” button in Fitzii.
