  • Strategy: Align the sales organization’s objectives with firm business strategy through active participation in corporate strategic planning, sales strategy development including GTM, forecasting, sales resource planning, and budgeting
  • Sales Org Design: Accountable for effective sales organization design, including sales job roles, sales channel design, and sales resource deployment
  • Targets: Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume, market share, and other key financial performance objectives
  • Training: Lead learning and development initiatives impacting the sales organization, and provides stewardship of sales and sales management talent
  • Performance Management: Establish and govern the sales organizations performance management system. This includes establishing guiding sales organizational principles for managing performance, establishing and prioritizing critical performance measures for all sales jobs; overseeing the equitable allocation of organization objectives across all sales channels, markets, and personnel; and ensuring all key sales and sales management associates are held accountable for assigned results
About this roleThe VP, Global Sales will be responsible for supporting our Global sales teams, carrying out strategic plans that will increase the company’s revenue while ensuring the sales teams achieve their targets. This leader understands and will research global trends to advise on key market strategies. This role will be based remotely in the United States and will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer.Minimum requirements and experience:
  • A degree / diploma in Business or Marketing or related field with at least 15 years of
  • Sales Management experience in B2B settings
  • Must have valid passport and be willing to travel internationally to support direct sales staff as well as distributors and reseller partners to close large strategic sales opportunities
  • Must be committed to GTM and Sales Management excellence
  • Must be well-versed using SalesForce CRM
  • Able to travel up to 50% in North America
Preferred qualifications and key skills:
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
  • Proven ability to position products against competitors
  • Demonstrable experience as head of global sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
