Are you an Application Support Specialist who has experience providing a very high level of customer service In this role, you will develop strong relationships with internal customers and IT technical staff. You will provide support to both local and remote users, maintain system documentation, and contribute to IT projects as required. We love this company because of they treat their employees well and have a high caliber of talent.Here is what you will do on a day to day basis:Support and maintain cross functional business applicationsQuickly respond to issues or high priority requests and escalationsHandling support tickets through to resolutionWork with other IT and internal stakeholder groups to resolve and implement permanent solutions to recurring problemsTroubleshoot using development tools, for example SQL-Server, etc.Proactively communicating support ticket status and updates directly to business users and managementMonitors and ensures application performance, quality and other standards are maintained; contacts and/or refers second level problems to higher level technical staffMonitors systems jobs/tasks/performance/availability and responds to notifications or issuesStrong analytical skills and attention to detailUpdate knowledge base and documentationHere #39;s the kind of person we are looking for:Degree or diploma in computer science field, or Information Management, or Information Technology field.Minimum of seven years of experience relevant to the roleStrong troubleshooting and analytical skillsExperience with application supportExperience and/or knowledge of support frameworks, for example ITILExperience with developer tools (SQL-Server, C#, VBScript, etc.) an advantageStrong documentation skillsTeam playerDemonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapts to new technologies.Troubleshooting skillsAble to communicate effectively with developers, testers, business analysts and business users.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with all levels of business users and managementExcellent organizational skills with motivation, self-direction, and good time management skillsIf you would like to explore this position further, please apply now!Our client is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity at their company.
