We are looking for a Manager, Market Accessamp; Government Affairs to join our Market Accessamp; Government Affairs (MAamp; GA) team. This position reports directly to the Field Lead, Market Accessamp; Government Affairs and is field based covering the immunology therapeutic area in British Columbia.Key responsibilities:Gain and maintain market access for all of AbbVie products with provincial payers in British Columbia.Oversee the British Columbia government payer and policy-maker interactions related to immunology: to develop and execute AbbVie’s health policy strategy and tactical plans.Support the MAamp; GA team’s development and implementation of the annual British Columbia customer plans. Track the execution and impact of MAamp; GA lobbying policy-making activities. Identify health policy barriers and ensure optimal policy conditions and reimbursement for current and future AbbVie immunology products.Play an active role with therapeutic area in field teams and identify opportunities to work collaboratively with cross-functional colleagues to deliver on brand objectives.Work closely with the Community Relations team, as needed, to encourage advocacy including provincial patient evidence submissions.Play an active role with provincial regional biopharmaceutical industry association committees (Innovative Medicines Canada, BIOTECanada; Provincial Life Sciences Organizations).Identify and shape multi-stakeholder projects that are of interest to policy makers / public payers and that position AbbVie as a trusted and expert stakeholder.Liaise with Market Accessamp; HEOR team to support British Columbia in providing policy makers/drug plan managers with customized relevant clinical and health economic information.Work closely with the Lead, GAamp; Policy to execute external affairs plans and ensure needs are reflected in planning.Responsible for developing the GA strategy and tactical plan in collaboration with the Lead GA and the Field Lead MAamp; GA. Manage the British Columbia regional brands and corporate budgets.Influence the development of provincial legislation and policy, leveraging customized value propositions in British Columbia policymakers, where appropriate.Work closely with the Field Lead MAamp; GA to support financial cycle and ensure the tactical plan is aligned with the MA strategy.
