If you enjoy working with talented engineers, massive datasets, finding the best-in-class solutions to satisfy business needs, and love tackling challenging problems, you are very welcome!Key ResponsibilitesParticipate in the design and implementation of the new company PlatformWork with development leads and data engineers to create testing strategiesDefine, build, automate, and execute testing for code in an agile practice and according to the sprint planning.Design, monitor and maintain QA reports, KPIsamp; quality trends for the internal data systemsDesign and build test automation framework for data pipelinesExecute and automate test cases and perform bug-trackingHelp create and implement quality processes and requirementsWho You ArePrior experience in QA and testing (data, regression, automation, defect).Working knowledge of a testing frameworkExperience in testing multiple integrated data systems Hands-on experience with testing in system, integration testing phasesStrong SQL skills to carry out data validationsExperience in the design, developmentamp; maintenance of manual and automation test scripts.Good working knowledge of waterfall and a deep, holistic understanding of Agile.Strong understanding of various database management systems (DBMS), including but not limited to relational databases, NoSQL databases, and graph databases. In-depth knowledge of data types commonly stored in databases, including structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data. Proficiency in data retrieval, transformation, and validation techniques, with a focus on ensuring data accuracy and consistency . Experience in testing data migration, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data warehousing is a plus.Experience in Agile delivery techniques, processes, practices, and tooling.Strong interest in the latest data engineering technologies, best practices, techniques and trends in the data industryProfessional written and spoken English You are adept at working asynchronously with global teams. Bonus Points Experience with Databricks, Spark, Apache Parquet and Airflow are big plusesExperience working with the gaming industrySalary Range89500 - 134500 CAD, per-year-salaryThe typical salary range for this position is from $89500-$134500 annually. The base pay offered may vary depending on a variety of factors including, your qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
