Job DescriptionRegional Coordinator, Marketingamp; Communications: Reporting to the Regional Director, Marketingamp; Communications, you will provide daily support and be a contributing member of the hotel and regional marketingamp; communications team. What you will be doing:Fairmont Hotel Vancouver:
  • Support visiting media and influencer programs: vetting incoming requests, reservations and personalized itinerary details, arrange VIP amenities, update key staff and host media dinners and events, when required.
  • Maintain hotel press kit and online press room with relevant press releases and photos, ensure online press rooms are kept up to date, and maintain media database and distribute weekly media briefs, resumes and reports.
  • Prepare press materials, monitor media coverage, organize press briefings, along with coordinating interview requests and promotional materials.
  • Prepare monthly marketing and public relations reporting
  • Contribute to creative brainstorms and communications strategic planning
  • Develop yearly F amp;B marketing events calendar, coordinate project management systems, ensuring cross-functional teams are working cohesively.
  • Provide regular departmental status updates and circulate marketingamp; communications meeting notes in a timely manner.
  • Provide ongoing support to the marketing and communications division.
Regional Public Relationsamp; Communications:
  • PR Maintenance and organization of Fairmont PNW media intelligence including preparation of media reports, monthly summaries, database management, and other reporting needs
  • General administrative duties such as travel arrangements, media and partner reservations and itineraries
  • Compiling, updating and distributing press materials as needed
  • Coordination of various components of public relations events, launches, special events (i.e. invitations, RSVP management and media mailers)
  • Assisting with the planning, co-ordination and implementation of regional media and content creators FAMS.
  • Assisting and conducting sites and hosting media and content creators
  • Working with photographers and film crews while onsite to the benefit of the brand.
  • Responding to inquiries from media and partners in a timely manner.
  • Serving as a liaison between the public, corporate and property-based Public Relations
  • Preparing PowerPoint and other presentations as required
  • Preparing awards applications and supporting other requests for information.
  • Provide administrative support to Regional Director, Marketingamp; Communications
  • Miscellaneous assignments as required
