NABCO Canada is a subsidiary of NABCO Entrances and a member of the Nabtesco Group of Companies globally.NABCO Canada delivers high quality North American built automatic pedestrian entrances and accessibility solutions that exceeds the growing needs of retailors, healthcare facilities, education providers, restaurants, and many more institutions throughout Canada.With a focus on unsurpassed reliability and ongoing development of innovative products, let us open doors for you.This is a full-time work from home opportunity.Position SummaryThe Sales Representative manages client accounts by delivering on the NABCO Canada brand promises, driving sales volume, and ensuring quality and consistency to maximize client acquisition and retention.Essential Functions

  • Prospecting, estimating, providing quotations, relationship building and the development of a geographic sales area.
  • Build relationships with prospective clients to develop sales opportunities and set appointments to understand their business.
  • Respond to addendums sent by general contractors during the bidding phase and site instructions during the construction phase. Update quote or create change orders as required.
  • Communicate with Automatic Door Technicians and distributors regarding their recommendations for new or replacement automated pedestrian entrances.
  • Pricing and creating quotations, pre-bid qualifications forms, pre-bid contracts, RFI #39;s, contract scope issues, order processing, shop drawings, architectural submittals, change orders and job releases.
  • Canvass bidding networks and join relevant industry organizations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NABCO services, products and compatible hardware, leveraging training and product documentation when required.
  • Make sales presentations to client decision makers.
  • Strengthen relationships with existing clients by providing quality customer service, developing future business opportunities, and gaining referrals.
  • Maintain client database by recording all activities, transactions, and communications with clients.
  • Maintain quote workflow tracker using the Company CRM.
  • Deliver scope-of-work packages to operations teams in assigned regional area.
  • Draft shop-drawings for swing door pedestrian entrances.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients with regard to lead times, credit, product offerings, service offerings, scope, scope changes, and other needs.
  • Visit client sites prior to the start of a pedestrian entrance installation, as required.
QualificationsKnowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Maintain knowledge of the Construction Industry.
  • Establish a network of relationships in commercial and institutional sectors.
  • Able to make professional presentations by demonstrating excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Organizational skills demonstrating the ability to multi-task.
  • Maintains a results-oriented approach coupled with high-energy, reliability and personal discipline.
  • Strong ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions.
  • Strong attention to detail.
Education, Training, Experience
  • 2-5 years’ experience B2B sales within the automatic pedestrian entrance industry or related combination of relevant experience.
  • A proficiency in reading plans, specifications, and a working knowledge of storefronts and door hardware.
  • Working knowledge and proficiency with CRM systems.
  • Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting software is considered an asset.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point).
  • Relevant post-secondary education or relevant combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clear driving record.
Compensation:
  • Base Salary: $64,000.00 - $98,000.00
  • Commission
  • Vehicle Allowance
