In particular, that includes creating an equitable, inclusive and growth-focused environment for our people.About this teamThe Global Supply Chain Portfolio team supports portfolio management, transformationamp; operations for Productamp; Planning Systems, Upstream Supply Chain, and Global Fulfillment Technology. The organization is responsible for +$100M in capital delivery and has +500 people in it. This team is responsible for overseeing portfolio practices to enable program managers under each team. We are also the central source of information for timely and relevant communication of enterprise activities like annual and strategic planning, dependency management, quarterly planning etc. The team is evolving to take responsibility for a large portfolio transformation which is required to elevate people, processamp; technology through consistent delivery frameworks, capacity planning, budget management, dependency managementamp; portfolio reporting. The team also enables operational activities such organization strategy, financial managementamp; analysis, workforce planningamp; labour strategy, partner relationships (EPPM, P amp;C, Procurement, FP amp;Aamp; more). The goal of this work is to simplify and enable managers and directors in Global Supply Chain Technology and provide more time and insights to elevate their programs and portfolios.A day in the life:The Senior Portfolio Manager provides management and oversight of enterpriseamp; portfolio level processes which includes:

  • Manage communication and oversight of planning processes including strategic planning and road mapping exercises (leveraging business capabilities), Annual Operating Plan (AOP), dependency management
  • Manage communication and oversee processes related to financial reviews, reporting, steering committees, KPIs etc.
  • Manage rollup of +$100M portfolio including risks, financials, and key decisions in collaboration with portfolio leaders
  • Document and maintain portfolio artifacts and templates, encouraging the development and use of a knowledge library
  • Collaborate with portfolio leaders to establish and implement the processes and governance needed to achieve and sustain operational excellence in portfolio management
  • Work with Enterprise Portfolio Management team to contribute and deliver portfolio activities and optimizations
  • Oversee GSCT Portfolio backlog, analyze information to make informed recommendations and lead value driven improvements to enable teams
  • Support peers with actions around portfolio and operations transformation (such as delivery frameworks and tools, process improvement etc.)
  • Lead employee development and community of practice involvement for key roles in the organization (Project and Program Manager)
  • Develops strong working partnerships with technology leaders and business teams to effectively achieve objectives
  • Provides coaching and mentorship for community members to help develop both personal and professional skills and experiences
  • Ensure team members have the tools, resources, and information they need to perform their jobs effectively and remove barriers to allow team to be as efficient as possible
  • Uses appropriate strategies and actions to overcome resistance to change and capitalize on forces in support of change
  • Escalating risks and proposing recommendations to solve to leadership
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years working in Technology or a related field
  • 5-7+ years in program/portfolio management role and/or 3-5+ years consulting or executive management role
  • Proven experience with a focus on portfolio or operations management within high growth companies
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) nice to have
  • Change Management Certification (PROSCI) nice to have
  • Process Improvement Certification (Lean Six Sigma) nice to have
  • Ability to translate ideas into clear, high impact communications to executives, managers, employees and business partners
  • Passionate for portfolio management discipline with the ability to balance governance with execution agility
  • Ability to excel in an ambiguous environment
  • Demonstrated ability to function in a fast-paced, multi-program environment with changing priorities
  • Ability to anticipate potential problems and proactively troubleshoot to resolve issues
  • Exceptional leadership skills including the ability to influence and gain consensus in the absence of direct authority and beyond the scope of the position
  • Proven results working with global and remote teams across different time zones
