About You As the Service Advisor, you will support on the customer service and sales front at M amp;P Mercury’s retail Marine store, situated waterside in downtown Vancouver. You will leverage a friendly, customer-focused and problem-solving mindset to understand M amp;P Mercury’s customer needs and offer the best solutions. From answering phones, processing orders, collecting payments to ensuring boats are in excellent condition and ready for sales, you are self-motivated and passionate about managing customer relationships, ensuring they leave with a smile on their face. A Day in the Life

  • Leverage your understanding of M amp;P Mercury’s products, services and offers to educate customers and offer solutions that best align with their needs.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with timely and accurate check-in and check-out, taking orders, prompt pick-ups, and clear customer expectations upon drop off.
  • Act an integral part of M amp;P Mercury #39;s sales process by taking orders, processing payments, calculating charges, reviewing accounts and recording customer details and transactions.
  • Lead as a compassionate and customer-centric customer relations expert to effectively listen and resolve complaints, returns, grievances and inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Promptly handle all incoming correspondence with a friendly demeanor, such as answering emails and phone calls and follow up on messages where required.
  • Maintain effective and open lines of communication with customer offering consistent updates on boat status and any additional information requested.
  • Act as an administrative support by managing incoming appointments, scheduling technicians/cleaners and processing manufacture warranties.
  • Liaise with the Sales Department to prepare for new sales and new boats for salable condition, build estimates and maintain a tidy and organized department.
