Job Description

Trinity Consultants, a leading global environmental consulting firm, provides services and solutions in the EH amp;S Regulatory Compliance, Built Environment, Life Sciences and Wateramp; Ecology markets. At Trinity, we help clients create a sustainable and livable world across the natural and built environments.We are seeking an experienced business unit (BU) Marketing Director for our Wateramp; Ecology group on our growing corporate marketing team. This individual will lead the global marketing strategy, developing the annual marketing plan and budget, engaging with leadership and SMEs on client issues-led programs, collaborating with our shared services organization and agencies on digital program execution and working with our data analyst to develop reporting on campaigns and KPIs. The Marketing Director role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced digital marketer who wants to excel in a dynamic, growing consulting organization. The right candidate has held previous Industry or Functional B2B services marketing roles, has Industry experience in Environmental Consulting or related services, and is enthusiastic about influencing growth. This role reports to the CMO.The person in this role will become our BU ‘domain marketing expert’ and will interact with leadership and senior client-service leads on short term needs and deliverables weekly. This individual will be responsible for managing the entire marketing stack for her/his designated BU, including driving brand awareness, understanding client-challenges, managing messaging and positioning for the group, identifying new client value propositions, developing original impactful content for engagement, and managing the execution of Marketo campaigns that result in new MQLs for our marketing and sales pipeline. Demonstrated experience building GTM plans, working directly with business development professionals on key activities and aligning on growth goals is essential.Core ResponsibilitiesEngage with business unit leadership and the CMO to clarify/understand business objectives, services and value propositions that serve as the foundation for the annual marketing strategyCollaborate with the CMO and peers to create a messaging plan that drives preference across defined industry and functional areas while building awareness internallyWork with our internal shared services team to concept, develop and launch marketing content and collateral including advertising, social posts, case studies, blogs, homepage features, byline articles, infographics, whitepapers, sponsored material and morePlan, develop, execute, measure and report on strategic integrated marketing programs:Scope marketing activities and budgets to fit desired needsPlan timing and activation of campaigns against a master calendarLeverage all marketing support and channels available to achieve desired metricsEffectively monitor campaign set-up and testing, deployment, and delivery in MarketoWork with our agencies to drive social and online marketing campaigns, leveraging CTAs, new landing pages and various engagement activitiesContinuously ‘listen’ for market trends/insights and bring new ideas to the teamReport to leadership regularly on key metricsExecute website content changes and develop new pages to support BU objectives in the marketDrive new company acquisition marketing integration work in the BU, including brand integration, messaging, and positioningDevelop communications that are clear, concise, engaging, and align with our brand voiceRemain current with the latest trends and changes in marketing strategies – including digital, social, email, internal, brand building, and content strategyUtilize Trinity’s systems to research market segments, develop email contact databases, define personas, develop new content, optimize channels (with our agency) and execute campaignsRequired ExperienceBA and/or advanced degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field9-14 years of experience in B2B services marketing, IT Consulting marketing or similar marketing rolesPast success with concepting, developing and executing marketing campaigns that drive awareness, build reputation, expand client relationships and drive new revenueExperience working with digital agencies and small internal shared services organizations to achieve set goalsProficiency working directly with client-facing leaders and addressing their needs while consistently delivering on marketing and sales KPIsProven track record collaborating with BD teams on sales objectives and growthA strong commitment to leveraging our marketing and sales funnel approach and utilizing our marketing technology stack to achieve goalsDeep understanding of the professional services businessDemonstrated success working with geographically dispersed teams and business unitsExcellent at grasping highly technical concepts and creating content and client communications that are easily understoodExcellent organizational skills and strong attention to detailAble to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing varying demands, and meeting deadlinesExperience with Environmental Consulting Industry services a plusLocations: Vancover BC or Dallas TX location preferred
