  • Provide support to Human Resources including maintenance of employee records in HRIS (BambooHR)
  • Responsible for coordinating the receiving and administering of payroll. This includes collecting all time cards and payroll information, reviewing timesheets, and comparing to truck tickets and GPS tracking reports.
  • Provide administrative assistance to payroll/accounts payable and HR.
  • Complete data entry on a frequent basis requiring high attention to details.
  • Correctly allocate project specific costs from individual timesheets.
  • Accurately complete spread sheets for tracking and administering invoices and payment.
  • Match statements with supporting documents and make note of any discrepancies.
  • Monitor the payables email account and forward all inquiries to the appropriate channels.
  • Communicate clearly and provide assistance where required to; Front Desk Reception, Human Resources, Fleet Management, Accounts Receivable, Dispatch, and Project Management team members via phone and email.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
  • 3+ years experience supporting Human Resources and payroll/accounting
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office (particular strength in Excel)
  • Familiarity with payroll/accounting systems (SAGE Simply accounting, an asset)
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (BambooHR, an asset)
  • Great attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Diplomatically communicate with employees and coworkers
  • Bilingualism an asset
  • Post secondary diploma or equivalent work experience
Availability
  • This is a salaried, full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
