Job Description

We are currently looking for System Integration V amp;V (Verificationamp; Validation) Engineering analyst to join our Calgary team, working in our Landamp; Joint Division on the LEISC program.In this position you will get to see how your contribution fits into the bigger picture. An area for problem solving will be understanding the cause and effect in complex systems. You will do this by conducting tests in the lab, collect customer feedback, and collaborate with other product and engineering teams. You will have exposure to various technical areas of engineering, including Software, Hardware, and Networking while developing your own specialization.Day to Day activities:

• Perform reviews of system and subsystem requirements specifications, interface control documents, design documents and use cases related to technical area of responsibility within 6 months in order to contribute to test plan development and facilitate integration activities
• Bring to the team an excitement and maturity to generate and execute formal and informal test procedures that will gather appropriate measures and data while appropriately documenting all of the results.
• Execute formal and informal test procedures while collaborating within a diverse multi-disciplinary team to gather appropriate measures and data.
• Perform investigations upon a complex system to clarify problem components and aid in further analysis.
• Use refined methodologies and own experience to perform exploration and investigations in support of writing problem and test reports demonstrating System knowledge, communicate as required.
• Participate in integrated team activities with system engineering and development engineering teams.
• Conduct themselves professionally at all times, in all meetings and activities, and when included in customer attended events

Educationamp; Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or applicable discipline
• Excellent communication abilities
• Understanding of the product development life cycle and associated processes
• Knowledge and experience with engineering and SIV amp;V process, including Agile/EDF.
• Experience in defining, developing and executing integration tests for complex functionality, and understanding the interdependencies and interactions between subsystems.
• Experience in the investigation, recommendations, and resolution of complex defects.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Canadian Security Clearance and a positive Controlled Goods Assessment. Eligibility to work in Canada either as a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident

Experience with the any of the following tools is also desirable:

• Awareness of Test Automation principles; possesses applicable skills and can contribute to its implementation
• Familiarity with radios, voice/data networks, and Internet Protocol (IP).
• Preference with experience in Linux, Python, Robot and Git
• Code Collaborator/DM Workflow.
• Enterprise Architect
• Microsoft Visio and other Office Suite products.
• IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM)
