This position is in Cargill’s agricultural supply chain business, where we seamlessly connect farming customers with food, feed and industry.Precision Agricultural Services Inc., a subsidiary of Cargill Limited, is a full-service agricultural retail business with 4 facilities located in southeast Saskatchewan, specializing in Crop Nutrition, Crop Protection, and Pedigreed Seed.Position Objective and Scope:Facility Operator will coordinate and support operations, sales and customer service activities and day-to-day operation of the business.Key Responsibilities:Assisting customers as requiredEnsuring the efficient and safe operation of the granular fertilizer facility, bulk seed facility, and agri-chemical warehouses, including shipping and receiving, inventory management and maintenance as well as Phase III complianceEnsuring all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely mannerMaintaining yard and officeInventory Control:Completing regular inventory countsMaintaining inventory recordsWorking with the team to investigate and resolve discrepanciesShipping and receivingFollowing established procedures for loading and receiving productVerifying and ensuring all documentation is accurateCustomer ServiceProviding outstanding customer serviceAdhering to company policies and proceduresMaintaining strict confidentialityCompleting other duties and projects as requiredQualificationsRequired:Must be legally entitled to work for Precision-ag in CanadaPrecision-ag requires that employees be a minimum of 18 years oldExcellent interpersonal and communication skills are essentialValid Class 5 Driver’s LicenseAbility to work independently and contribute to building the teamAbility to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodationAbility to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)Ability to operate machinery and/or industrial equipmentAbility to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)High school diploma/GED or a minimum of two years equivalent work experienceAbility to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance noticePreferred:Completion of the following: Transportation of Dangerous Goods, WHMIS, Forklift Operator and First Aid/CPRComputer skillsSelf-starter with a desire to succeedAbility to identify opportunities and implement solutionsAbility to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)Production or Plant experience1A or 5G Drivers LicenseThis Full-time position is located in Griffin, SK. however please expect receiving calls from a 204-area code in case you are considered.
