Job Description

We employ people who are passionate about their work and seek career challenges and advancement.SummaryThe Camp Prep Cook and Cleaner is responsible for assisting the Head Cook in the preparation of meals for the Construction Team. They are responsible for keeping a clean and sanitary kitchen and work station at all time. While not cooking, they would assist in the housekeeping of the camp to keep everything clean and tidy.Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prep food and stations prior to cooking
  • Assist head cook in preparing different meals
  • Clean and maintain a sanitary work-station and kitchen
  • Assist in housekeeping department as needed
Job Requirements
  • Applicant must be 18years of age or older
  • Hold a valid class 5 diver’s license and have own means of transportation to the jobsite
  • Available for 8-10 hours per day (ex; 9AM-7PM, 10AM-8PM)
  • Safe Food Handling Certificate an asset
  • Previous experience with prep cooking, baking and cleaning would be an asset
Willing to work out of town and in remote locations in a camp environment, as required. This job is located in Grunthal, Manitoba and will run for approximately 4-6 weeks.
