Reutter Dairy is a family dairy and crop farm located near Grunthal. We are looking to fill a full time, long term position.Your main responsibility would be to accurately feed cows, using a modern, self propelled TMR mixer, as well as other tractor and skidsteer work. There will also be other farm related tasks, including but not limited to silaging, harvest, maintance, and herd health related activities.It will be your responsibility to:- Make and distribute feeds to cows and young stock daily.- Ensure accuracy and maintain records of feedings.- Maintain clean and proper storage of feeds.- Operate a variety of modern and specialized farm machinery.- Maintain equipment.- Assist with other animal related tasks.Requirements:- Valid class 5 drivers’ license.- Ability to self manage and work independently, as well as a team.- Strong problem-solving skills.- Physically fit, some manual labour included- Self motivated, able to quickly adapt, and willing to learnAssets:- Class 3 or higher drivers’ license.- Previous experience in agricultural.- Mechanically inclined.- Agriculture specific education (AI certificate, Ag diploma, etc.).
