Job Description

IT Technical AnalystJob SummaryReporting to the Director of Technology, the IT Technical Analyst will assist in the provision and maintenance of all technology, technology hardware, software, enterprise applications (including an ERP system), facility operational technology and in-house technology support for Atlas. Along with the Director of Technology, you will also assist in the selection, maintenance and implementation of technology. You will be required to work out of our facility located in Lac St. Anne county.Reports to: Director of TechnologyRole and ResponsibilitiesIT support:

  • Provide technical support for onsite or remote employees
  • Assist staff with the installation, configuration and ongoing usability of desktop computers, peripheral equipment and software
  • Identify and implement solutions for staff training including customer service and other relevant skills
  • Assist in creating guides and training employees on internal technology stack (including current and new employees)
  • Being the first point of contact for internal employee IT issues
  • Become familiar with internal information (e.g. ERP) and operations (e.g. fertigation, monitoring) systems, and providing remote support when needed via TeamViewer
IT technical analyst:
  • Administration of Office 365 environment
  • Administration of company-wide cloud collaboration using SharePoint, including maintaining and improving site/subsite structure for better scalability
  • Maintenance of on-prem security and environmental controls Windows servers
  • Familiarity with Lenovo XClarity management solution
  • Administration of cloud-based VoIP phones
  • Administration of Atlas employee technology and deployment of mobile devices via a mobile device management solution
  • Assist in the selection and procurement of technology hardware for information systems (e.g. printers, tablets) and operations systems (e.g. RF devices, label printers)
  • Work with Atlas’ external IT networking and helpdesk partner, including coordinating and optimizing tasks between internal and external IT
  • Assist with creation of security policies and procedures for securing Atlas information storage and communications
  • Monitor the operation and maintenance of the Atlas networks in all locations across multiple building sites
  • Organize and maintain IT room and server racks (including installation of new rack mountable equipment as needed)
Software & hardware implementations:
  • Assist with Atlas ERP implementation and any other software implementations or projects as required
  • Assist in implementation of technology infrastructure, including how to better utilize existing technology
  • Evaluate, implement and maintain the newest and most innovative technologies to enhance cultivation and production operations
QualificationsRequired
  • Computer Science or related diploma or degree
  • Minimum 3 years IT experience in a user-facing environment
  • Experience in administration of Office 365, Exchange, Azure, Intune, SharePoint, etc.
Preferred
  • ITIL Certification
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, SharePoint
  • Certified Protege GX Installer
  • Familiarity using mobile device management tools such as Microsoft Intune (now Endpoint Manager) to deploy and manage corporate devices
  • Familiarity using Crystal Reports in to modify or create reports in an ERP system
  • Familiarity working with and/or implementing an ERP system
Skills and Abilities
  • Proficient in managing Microsoft Office 365, Exchange, Intune and SharePoint
  • Working with enterprise networking equipment
  • Familiarity with maintaining on-prem Windows servers
  • Familiarity with security certificates (SCEP & PKCS#12)
  • SQL and databases
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly
  • Can work with a high degree of autonomy
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Analysis and planning skills
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to an evolving environment
  • Effective communication skills
  • Proficient in spoken and written English
