Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation Administration Job PostingsJob Summary: The Cultural Facilitator is responsible for providing program facilitation related to the Anishnaabe cultural teachings for the purpose of providing a culturally enriched learning environment through language, play and various formal and informal activities, to be delivered to the children, parents, staff and students of both the on and off reserve EarlyON Child and Family Programs.Closing Date: August 19 th, 2021 at 12:00PM for the full-time, permanent position**Please Note: Please submit your cover letter, resume, proof of educational qualifications and three current references upon submission of application to be considered for this position.**REQUIREMENTSEducational Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

  • Must have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma
  • Knowledge in the Anishnaabe culture and language with the ability to teach primary words,
phrases and basic songs
  • 2 years working with children and families
Other Requirements
  • Must have a reliable vehicle and valid Class “G” Driver’s License
  • Must have current First Aid and CPR Certification or willingness to obtain at the first available
course offering
  • Must have acceptable results of a current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
(current within 6 months of the date of hire).
  • Must be able to provide current updated immunization records, or a letter stating exemption on
