Job PostingHalifax Regional Municipality is inviting applications for one full-time, temporary position of up to 12 months of Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP). This is a term position however it may become permanent through the business planning process. The HRBP works to ensure a consistent standard of proactive HR service delivery tailored to reflect the particular business requirements of each client’s operations. The HRBP operates as part of the Employee Relations team, which is responsible for delivering sound, effective human resources services to their clients in conjunction with HR’s Organizational Development & Health and Total Rewards divisions.HRBP will exercise independent judgement and initiative in determining and recommending courses of action when dealing with the full range of HR services including performance management, staffing, managing absenteeism, duty to accommodate, training, change management, diversity and inclusion and succession planning.QUALIFICATIONS
