Our rapidly growing insurance brokerage is seeking an Analyst, Corporate Development to join our team. Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Development the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the Corporate Development function including mergers, acquisitions, financings and new ventures. The role will evolve and grow along with the business. StoneRidge Insurance Brokers is an independent insurance brokerage headquartered in Ancaster, Ontario with 56 locations across Canada.Job Duties: · Perform analysis for corporate development functions including financial modelling, forecasting and synergy analysis· Assist M&A and operational due diligence and post-deal integration· Preparation of presentations to senior management, board members and potential partners· Help to develop operational, financial and KPI reporting for senior management· Assist with preparation of annual budgets· Other ad-hoc projects as requiredRequirements: · Attention to detail, willingness to learn and a self-starter· Proven problem-solving skills and able to make timely decisions· Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with both internal and external partners· Ability to work effectively on multiple projects in a fast-paced deadline driven environment· Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel with financial modelling and experience developing presentations in PowerPointQualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field· 2 to 4 years experience in an accounting, due diligence, consulting, corporate finance or investment banking role· CPA/CA, CFA or CBV designation or working towards preferred· Experience corporate finance/mergers and acquisitions in insurance is an assetJob Type: Full-timeWork Location: Hybrid remote in Hamilton, ONQuick Apply
