JCC Clinics supports outpatient care within six large clinics, across all disease sites and treatment modalities, serving around 400 patients daily. The unit includes our Primary Nurses, our Clinic Clerks, Lobby and Laboratory Reception Clerks, our Clinic Health Care Aides, our New Patient Referral Clerks and our Patient Registration Clerks. There is also interaction with physicians, allied health professionals, Customer Support Services and with other Henderson Hospital staff through treatment and laboratory services.Position SummaryAs a member of the healthcare team, the Clerk Typist 4 provides support to the Juravinski Cancer Centre (JCC) patients, families, and members of the healthcare team. Reporting to the JCC Manager Flow and Operations, the Clerk responsibilities include but are not limited to: patient reception, registration, scheduling, order entry, statistical data, telephone communications, supply and document management, filing, coordination of the patient chart by requesting medical reports, slides and films.
