The program includes a School of Radiation Therapy with Clinical Coordinators, and a treatment and administrative staff that include Radiation Therapists, Nurses, Mould Room Technicians, Clerks, Secretaries, and Health Care Aides.Currently there are 3 CT Simulators, 1 Conventional Simulator, state-of-the-art treatment planning system, 10 Varian Linear Accelerators, one Ortho-Voltage unit, a HDR Brachytherapy Suite, and a CyberKnife unit.Position SummaryAs a member of the healthcare team, the Clerk Typist 4 provides support to the Juravinski Cancer Centre (JCC) patients, families, and members of the healthcare team. Reporting to the JCC Manager Flow and Operations, the Clerk responsibilities include but are not limited to: patient reception, registration, scheduling, order entry, statistical data, telephone communications, supply and document management, filing, coordination of the patient chart by requesting medical reports, slides and films.
