From long-range covert surveillance missions to search and rescue operations, our MX-series systems, and the mission systems solutions they are a part of, produce stabilized high-magnification electro1-optical and infrared images from airborne, marine and ground based platforms, enabling our customers to see first and act first.Tasks to be accomplished

• Maintain global processes to support all Customer Service material activity including part movement, repairs, scrap and replenishment
• Validate material requests and process shipments to Wescam Authorized Service Center (WASC) and Field Support Rep (FSR) onsite repairs
• Manage material backlog orders until order fulfillment
• Define global service center stocking levels/safety stock
• Maintain targeted inventory levels by generating repair and replenishment orders
• Review and approve vendor repair quotes in accordance with departmental practices and budget
• Forecast monthly material requirements in alignment with materials budget
• Generate forecast for New Product Introductions (NPI)
• Forecast last time buy requirements for obsolete and end of life products
• Work with purchasing and production to schedule build/kitting of upgrades
• Attend the Engineering change meetings and execute change cut in plans for global Wescam and customer owned inventory and repairs.
• Analyze monthly service level fill rates to material requirements and recommend adjustments
• Provide scrap analysis for obsolete unsupported and slow moving materials
• Identify excess material at service centers for redeployment
• Review excess material transfers to/from Production inventory
• Manage customer owned material replenishment orders
• Monitor and support the forecasting and scheduling of global Customer Service repairs
• Maintain the repair master planning schedule and ensure execution with Wescam Repair Operations, WASC’s and Vendors
• Manage demand loading and expedites to meet RTAT, Revenue and customer satisfaction requirements
• Support cycle counts, resolve variances and report results
• Develop procedures, policies and documentation that supports the control and accountability of the materials and systems functions in the CSG materials planning and repair process
• Provide regular reporting and metrics to address issues, opportunities and facilitate decision making
• Work closely with Customer Service, Operations Planning, Supply Chain, Purchasing and Finance teams to identify opportunities to continuously improve team productivity and inventory management processes

Skills Required

• Competency using ERP, MRP and Service parts planning software packages
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project
• Solid understanding of forecasting and inventory management in a service environment
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for a demanding and customer focused working environment
• Commitment to change using a Continuous Improvement approach
• Strong leadership and communication skills in a Team environment
• Able to work in a high-pressure environment while maintaining strong sense of urgency and focus on customer service

Experience & Education Requirements

• University Degree/College Diploma in Business Operations, Material Management or Supply Chain
• 5+ years of progressive experience in the following areas: inventory planning within an MRP or service parts planning environment, inventory management, production planning, master scheduling and forecasting
• APICS Certification or working towards certification
