Job Description

Job Description of Safety and Compliance Executive :

  • Compliance Monitoring
  • ELD and Log Books Audit
  • Driver Qualification Files
  • Drug and Alcohol Program
  • Equipment files
  • Date entry for Fleet maintenance records
  • Driver Orientation
  • Report and schedule a follow-up with drivers on any violations, tickets, accidents, injuries, claims, and other incidents as they occur
  • Work with other departments to improve driver retention and handle driver complaints
  • Perform other administrative and general tasks as they arise
Requirements -
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • English Second Languages Always an Asset
  • Knowledge of Hours or Service and MTO and DOT regulations
  • Keen attention to detail, good time management, and organizational skills
  • Computer proficiency – Excellent computer knowledge – Word, Excel, Outlook, PDF, Email
  • Trucking Software knowledge is a plus
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to organize work to meet deadlines
  • Database management skills a must
  • Available to work on some weekends if required
  • Experience with other trucking companies is a plus
  • G License- must be able to travel around surrounding areas if needed
  • General understanding of North American regions
  • Willingness to travel and Handle Both yards Hamilton & Bolton & Etobicoke
