Job Description

Oakridge Landscape Contractors has a need for General Laborers (Full-time Year Round) to join our dynamic team of talented individuals!With over 25 years of award-winning experience in landscape and landscape construction, we stand firmly behind our work and our employees. Join a team that helps our clients realize their dreams.Position:

  • General Labourer.
Location:
  • Hamilton, Ontario.
Pay:
  • $18 to $20/hr. depending on experience.
Benefits:
  • After 3 months.
Key job duties:
  • Mow grass.
  • Weeding.
  • Flower bed maintenance.
  • Trimming shrubs and evergreens.
  • Raking.
  • The job involves lifting, bending, digging, raking, using a wheelbarrow, shovel, rake, and other tools.
  • Ability to dig holes (when needed), place soils, plant trees, and shrubs, etc.
  • Installation of natural stone (flag, armor, etc).
  • Installation of interlock paving stone.
Job Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work long hours.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Ability to think as a team player.
  • Ability to do physical work.
  • Respect for on-site safety.
  • Ability to work Saturdays as required.
  • Tolerance to various weather conditions.
