Classic 8 Cleaning & Maintenance works closely with our Property Management clients to provide a full range of building maintenance services.Hiring a Full Time Heavy Duty Cleaner for our Condominiums in Grimsby, ON.Start date: ASAPPosition: Heavy Duty CleanerShift: Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:00pmLocation: Burlington, ONHeavy Duty Cleaner / Housekeeper Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Maintains and cleans compactor roomAssists in the moving of garbage bins when neededCleans and services restrooms with light duty housekeeping duties.Sweeps, vacuums, and mops floors and stairwaysGathers and disposes of rubbish and waste materials by hand or with the use of powered equipmentPolishes furniture, metal work, and chrome using appropriate cleaning and polishing compoundsDusts such items as blinds, furniture, file cabinets, door, frames, railings, picture frames and windowsills using treated dust mittens, cloths, or hand-cleaning itemsPerforms maintenance duties, i.e. change A/C filters, grease motors, change belts, secures door hingesCleans and stores equipment and machinery used i.e. power washerCleaner / Housekeeper Knowledge, Skills and Proficiency:Prior cleaning experience in condominium is an assetHave knowledge of standard methods, practices, tools, solutions and equipment of the janitorial serviceHave knowledge of occupational hazards and safety rulesJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $38,500.00-$40,000.00 per yearFlexible Language Requirement:
