JOB OVERVIEW:The hosts/hostess’ at D spot are the first ones to ensure that customers have an amazingexperience/visit when greeting new customers at the door and welcoming them. They must always havea positive attitude and sharp communication skills when handling patrons at the door.GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:➢ Greet customers at the door with a positive attitude and seating them➢ Cleanliness and organization of the host area and section➢ Assisting customers with take out orders and/or menu items. Familiarity with the menu and POSsystem➢ Entering orders into the POS system from customers’ take out orders/ take out platform orders andensuring proper packing of items before sending them out➢ Assisting servers on the floor with cleaning tables, running orders, filling up water for customers,helping with general work to ensure a smooth operations of the floor➢ Ensuring Food Service standards are met by maintaining a hygienic and clean workenvironment➢ Used to handling crowds during busy hours of operation. Multi-tasking between different tasks for asmooth workflow for customers➢ Wrapping cutlery as needed.➢ In the event of an absence, filling in, by being a productive team member if required➢ Working as a team player with fellow staff members to ensure all food items are deliveredat the appropriate time and temperature➢ Adhering to uniform standards, keeping a neat and professional appearance and consistency.➢ Staying updated on current menu changes and monthly features etc.➢ Following clear and concise instructions. Duties as assigned.JOB QUALIFICATIONS:➢ Previous experience is an asset➢ Excellent oral and written communication skills are required➢ Must be a team player➢ Positive interpersonal skills➢ Must be able to list up to 55 lbs➢ Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time➢ Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance is key➢ Must be honest and work with a great deal of integrity➢ Must be able to communicate with managers, staff and customersJob Types: Part-time, PermanentPart-time hours: 12-44 per weekSalary: From $15.50 per hourFlexible Language Requirement:
