About the Job:Oakridge Landscape Contractors is currently recruiting for a Lawn Maintenance Foreperson (Full-time/Year-Round Work) to join our dynamic team of talented individuals!Position: Lawn Maintenance Foreperson.Location: This position is based in Hannon (Hamilton), Ontario.Pay: $25-32 per hour

  • Company-matching RRSP is available after one year.
Job Duties:
  • Lawn Maintenance Foreperson/Crew Leader related to the landscape gardening industry.
  • The position of Lawn Maintenance Foreperson will involve assisting in the daily management of maintenance projects for Oakridge Landscape Contractors.
  • This position also includes the use of numerous types of related equipment.
Key Duties include:
  • Managing a crew of 3-5 people.
  • Mowing grass.
  • Flower bed maintenance.
  • Pulling weeds.
  • Trimming.
  • Raking.
  • Pruning.
  • Drive company truck and trailer.
Job Requirements:
  • Valid Driver’s License “G” is required.
  • Clean Driver’s Abstract.
  • Minimum of 5 years field experience and 3 years crew management.
  • Strong knowledge of job safety and safe work habits.
  • Willingness to take appropriate classes to upgrade my knowledge.
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work long hours and Saturdays as required.
  • Tolerance to various weather conditions.
