Job Description

About us: Real Burger is a family owned and operated restaurant, not a franchise. Our family has been operating for about 5 and half years in the heart of Waterdown. RB specializes in gluten free and vegan options which accommodates to all allergies and restrictions. What makes us different than other small businesses is that we ensure all our staff of a fun and safe environment in which they will be passionate about working in. Our home is your home, we want you to feel like your work is a place of home where you are comfortable.Real Burger in Waterdown, ON is looking for kitchen helpers to join our strong team. We are located on 94 Dundas St E. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and hard-working.Responsibilities

  • Set up workstations
  • Cook dishes to business standards
  • Follow health and safety guidelines
  • Prepare ingredients for use during shift
  • Stock and Prep Menu Items & toppings
  • Work with fryer
  • Work with slicer (slice cheese, tomatoes etc)
  • Wash Dishes when needed
  • Handle meat/poultry
  • Work well under pressure and within the time limit.
  • Assist cook with other restaurant tasks
Qualifications
  • Proven working experience as a cook
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to listen and communicate effectively
