This includes going mobile with Hamilton Police in a police vehicle and responding to 911 mental health and addiction crisis calls as required. The Mental Health Worker works in collaboration with other members of the COAST Hamilton team. This includes police officers at COAST Hamilton, and other police officers on the Mobile Crisis Rapid Response Team (MCRRT), Service providers of Child / Youth Services in Hamilton. This includes a systemic approach for the assessment of adults, children and youth in crisis to stabilize and manage the current crisis situation. The Mental Health Worker conducts risk and safety assessments, gives support and accesses support from many sources in the Hamilton community. QUALIFICATIONS :
