Job Description

The Support Worker is responsible for providing a variety of supports including personal care, behaviour management, mental health support and etc. to live their lives to their fullest potential. Other duties may include meal prepping, light housekeeping, detail note-taking among other tasks.We at Anchor strive to extend the best possible care for our clients this is includes performing tasks with a high level of professionalism, tact and compassion.   • Must be willing to do personal care
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize Mental Health Diagnosis
  • Behavioral Management (Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or Safe management)
  • Open Availability
  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • Current Police check
  • Crisis Prevention Certification
  • Current drivers abstract
  • Availability on workdays, evenings, and weekends
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, FreelanceSchedule:
  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
  • Weekend availability

Experience:
  • Personal Care (toileting, bathing and Personal Care): 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:

  • Class G Licence (required)
  • Clear Vulnerable Sector Check (required)
