The opportunity:Our Meat Services Team are located across New Zealand at our customer sites, carrying out ante and post mortem meat inspection, training and other regulatory/commercial activitiesAs the Operational Delivery Manager you will ensure the team delivers services to the agreed operational and customer service standards supporting our targeted growth in customer retention, revenue and profitability. You will be responsible for driving an environment of process improvement, consultation and communication.You will keep up-to-date with legislation, policy, accreditation and programme requirements to ensure these are implemented and understood by our teams. Build and maintain relationships with key customers and provide strong leadership to your team, through support, mentoring and development, where you'll measure their performance and celebrate their success, ensuring our customers are at the centre of everything we do.Ideally based in Auckland or Hamilton, as the role covers the North Island, we may also consider other locations for the right candidate.About you:With a relevant tertiary degree, you will thrive in this position if you are commercially astute with a successful track record in driving all aspects of operations with particular strengths in improving safety and wellbeing, customer relationships and people leadership.Our ideal candidate will have national operations experience from within large complex business. Energy and a modern leadership style will ensure your success in the position and organisation. Experience within the Food Processing, Livestock or Dairy industries whilst not essential would give you an advantage.As a natural people leader, you will be driven, approachable and enjoy developing others. With outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, you have a strong drive for results through providing exceptional service.
