From long-range covert surveillance missions to search and rescue operations, our MX-series systems, and the mission systems solutions they are a part of, produce stabilized high-magnification electro-optical and infrared images from airborne, marine and ground based platforms, enabling our customers to see first and act first.About the RoleWESCAM Division is creating a new specialist support role within the Program Management team in the Program Coordinator function to support management of and communication around securing approval documentation for Export Permits and FDA Laser exemptions for delivery of products and services from Wescam.Prepares documents, spreadsheets, reports and presentations. Liaise with customer to secure details necessary for completion of export compliance, FDA compliance, and logistics support. May include creation and delivery of training material to customers to facilitate successful outcomes. Creates and/or maintains appropriate logs, databases, inventories, filing (hard or soft copy), status reports/tracking. May perform some research or data analysis tasks.Primary Responsibilities

• Overall, the primary mission is ensure the effective and timely pursuit of export licenses by collecting and delivering fully compliant export documentation to Trade Compliance for processing.
• Support Program Management team in day to day management of export and trade compliance activity
• Focal point for issue of export permit application templates, customer correspondence and initiation of tracking mechanisms
• Securing EUS documentation from customers and collaboration to achieve successful completion of export application documents
• Logging, tracking, and expediting current export applications. Maintain tracker documents as required.
• Generation of documents for customer requested ECCD (Export Control Classification Declaration) in support of their Export Control processes.
• Formulate techniques for data collection to ensure tracking review and acceptance of data
• Devise and implement efficient procedures for data handling and analysis
• Establish rules and procedures for data sharing with team members, external stakeholders etc.
• Support others in the daily use of data systems and ensure adherence to legal and company standards
• Assist with reports and data extraction when needed
• Attend daily status meetings
• Support program meetings including meeting documentation, Export Status Reviews with customers and tracking of action items
• Process export provisos letters with customers
• Other tasks as assigned

Required Capabilities

• Understanding of configuration management processes
• Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to handle multiple tasks and effectively balance priorities
• Ability to deal directly with internal and external customers
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools with emphasis on Word, Excel and MS Project
• Knowledge in formal documentation formatting, filing and tracking techniques
• Fluency in current Product Data Management standards with the ability to review contract SOWs to determine appropriate application of procedures is an asset
• Ability to organize and coordinate formal meetings - including the recording of action items
• Experience in shipping and waybill tracking
• Good communication and problem solving skills
• Detail oriented individual utilizing Product Data Management tools and performing the preparation of contract data item submittals
• Some experience or exposure to program management concepts such as schedules, budgets and risks

Desired Education and Experiences

• Working knowledge of Trade Compliance, Export Controls, and International logistics including prior experience with a global trade company in the field of aerospace and defense technology.
• Relevant experience in the field of Product Data Management including experience with project and systems engineering techniques an asset.
• Manufacturing / Engineering / ERP system process experience and / or technical background an asset
• Post-Secondary Diploma in Business Administration (or equivalent experience)
