We would love for you to join our team!Are you the one we’re looking forWe are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated Relief Client Care Worker who demonstrates our values of compassion, accountability, responsiveness and empowerment; to our clients, families and each other.The Relief Client Care Worker covers off staffing needs within our residential programs. Within various multi-disciplinary teams, actively provide a safe environment, support both CCW, Recreational, therapeutic and medical staff to deliver services to individuals living with a dual diagnosis or an acute alcohol dependency.Gain experience with one of Canadas MAP (Managed Alcohol Program) known as the Special Care Unit or with our Dual Diagnosis Program (Wesley Supportive Housing). SCU offers support to adults experiencing homelessness and an acute dependency on alcohol while assisting with life skills development etc. This is a transitional program for males, females and non-binary.WSH (Dual Diagnosis) is a housing program for 10 adults living with a Dual Diagnosis. This program in in partnership with the YWCA and St Josephs Hospital.We are looking for a highly motivated staff who will use their skills to provide flexible intervention, assist clients to work on individual goals, assist with life skills development, support clients with programs and provide support and understanding for the struggles they may encounter.This position is a unionized, relief position. The rate of pay is $17.44 per hour.The successful candidate will be scheduled to work on an on-call basis. You will have the opportunity to cover varying shifts throughout the week. Hours vary based on need. Shifts could include days, evenings, overnights, and weekends. We are seeking a candidate with flexible availability, and overnight availability.Key Responsibilities:
