Job Description

Now Hiring: Shopamp; Maintenance Coordinator

  • Location: 340 Regional Road 20, Hannon, ON, L0R1P0.
  • Wage: $20-22 per hour.
  • Company-paid benefits after 3 months.
  • Company RRSP system.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage and maintain CVOR files, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and tracking any incidents or violations.
  • Utilize GeoTab to monitor and address violations, including speed reports and other compliance issues.
  • Communicate with relevant parties regarding any violations, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to company policies.
  • Report any habitual offenders to HRSM and EYM.
  • Maintain GPS system for vehicles and equipment.
  • Maintain driver’s electronic logs and inspections.
  • Analyze and report on vehicle and equipment performance, focusing on maintaining safety and efficiency.
  • Proactively coordinate and schedule service requirements for vehicles and equipment, including preventive maintenance, safeties, repairs, and prioritizing high priority repairs.
  • Maintain service records/maintenance files in compliance with MTO standards.
  • Maintain a database that identifies and tracks service due dates.
  • Schedule pickup of company vehicles and equipment to and from service facilities
  • Order, pick up or schedule delivery of parts as required ensuring to follow-up and communicate any delays or issues.
  • Issue purchase orders for parts or outside services and match purchase order to invoice/work order.
  • Track parts and materials inventory.
  • Maintain physical filing and e-filing systems.
  • Track hours for equipment services.
  • Ensure monthly hoist inspections are completed and reviewed by EYM. Schedule any necessary repairs and report all findings to EYM and HRSM.
  • Provide safety training to maintenance staff as issued by Human Resources.
  • Ensure shop always maintains a clean and safe environment including the end of day.
GENERAL
  • Work schedule is Monday to Friday with the occasional requirement of Saturdays based on business needs.
  • Hours of operation Monday to Thursday from 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Fridays 6:30am to 3:00pm.
  • Maintain consistent communication with EYM.
  • No overtime without prior approval.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • Driver’s License classquot;G quot; and a clean driver’s abstract.
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Office.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible, resourceful, and possesses a positive attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective in managing own workflow and fluctuating volumes and timelines.
  • Comfort working in a maintenance shop office environment.
  • Familiarity with maintenance shop protocols, trucks or heavy equipment would be an asset.
  • Understanding of CVOR system and Ontario Highway Traffic Act would be an asset.
