Job Description

Fusion Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: FUSN) is a clinical-stage oncology company focused on developing next-generation radiopharmaceuticals as precision medicines. Fusion connects alpha particle emitting isotopes to various targeting molecules to selectively deliver the alpha emitting payloads to tumors. Fusion #39;s clinical portfolio includes: FPI-2265 targeting prostate specific membrane antigen (PSMA) for metastatic castration resistant prostate cancer currently in a Phase 2 trial; FPI-1434 targeting insulin-like growth factor 1 receptor currently in a Phase 1 trial; and FPI-2059, a small molecule targeting neurotensin receptor 1 (NTSR1), currently in a Phase 1 trial. In addition to a robust proprietary pipeline, Fusion has a collaboration with AstraZeneca to jointly develop novel targeted alpha therapies (TATs) and combination programs between Fusion #39;s TATs and AstraZeneca #39;s DNA Damage Response Inhibitors (DDRis) and immune-oncology agents. The Company recently received IND clearance for FPI-2068, the first novel TAT under the collaboration, which targets EGFR-cMET. Fusion has also entered into a collaboration with Merck to evaluate FPI-1434 in combination with Merck #39;s KEYTRUDA (pembrolizumab) in patients with solid tumors expressing IGF-1R. To support Fusion #39;s growing pipeline of TATs, the company has signed strategic actinium supply agreements with TRIUMF, Niowave, and BWXT Medical.Fusion Pharmaceuticals is looking for a Systems Administrator who is entrepreneurial and resilient; a self-starter who thrives in a flexible and growth-driven environment. We are seeking a candidate who enjoys exploring, problem-solving, researching, and finding solutions while learning and understanding a variety of systems (IT, cyber, cloud, network, etc.).Responsibilities:Networking 30%:

  • Install, configure, and support the software and hardware component of networks.
  • General maintenance on local and wide area networks (LAN #39;s and WAN #39;s), relating to users, contexts, and network devices.
  • Troubleshoots network performance and provides technical guidance.
  • Ensures network related tasks are being performed to the standards of the organization.
  • Monitor Regulatory Compliance related to Cyber Security
Infrastructure 40%:
  • Install, configure, and support servers, desktops, and laptops.
  • Design, deploy, and support of Core Systems including Virtualization, Window Servers, Storage, Azure Cloud, Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery, and other industry standard tools. After hours on-call support as required.
  • Manage system backups services - both on-premises and cloud-based.
  • Support enterprise Zoom VoIP phone system.
Helpdesk 30%:
  • Assist in managing support tickets in the ticketing system.
  • Act as a point of escalation for Tier 1 and Tier 2 support.
  • Monitor helpdesk tickets and triage in Tier 1 as needed.
  • Support four office locations - 3 in Hamilton, Ontario and 1 in Boston, Massachusetts
  • Onboarding/Offboarding of users.
Qualifications
  • Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in computer science, or an acceptable combination of education and relevant experience
  • Experience in providing support to business users and fellow employees.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional and agile teams to achieve milestones and goals.
  • Previous work experience in a laboratory, hospital, or manufacturing facility greatly desired.
  • 3+ years hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Windows and Linux servers.
  • 3+ years hands-on experience implementing and supporting virtualization technologies such as VMware or Nutanix.
  • Working knowledge of modern networking systems, specifically, Cisco/Meraki.
  • Experience in ITamp; Software Validation (CSV/CSA, GAMP) is beneficial.
  • Good knowledge of Food and Drug Administration regulations/guidance (i.e. CFR 21 FDA Part 11, Annex 11, EU GMP Annex 1, GxP practices) preferable.
