Job Description

VG Meats is looking for a Regional Wholesale Representative in ON!We are looking to hire a Regional Wholesale Representative to join our Group of companies. You will represent the company and its brands in a way that supports the regeneration of the entire network. To do well in this role, you should have previous experience as a sales representative, be highly skilled with CRM software, have strong meat and food aptitude and ability to act as a consultant to new and existing customers.Why should you work for VG Meats

  • Base pay: $75,000 (annualized) moving to fully commissioned.- note: base pay is reduced as commission pay is transitioned in

Main duties
  • Promote sales to existing customers
  • Identify and solicit potential customers
  • Provide customers with presentations on the benefits and uses of goods or services
  • Quote prices, credit terms and delivery dates within the company #39;s constraints
  • Prepare or oversee the preparation of sales
  • Consult with clients after sales to resolve problems and provide ongoing support
  • Review and adapt to information regarding product innovations, competitors and market conditions
  • Conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce
Employment requirements
  • Meat knowledge.
  • 5 plus years of meat or food industry experience.
  • 5 plus years of Sales Representative experience
  • 2 plus years of CRM experience.
  • On-the-job training is provided.
