Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Bookkeeper,Property Accountant with aquot;Can do quot; attitude to join our us in our Montreal office.Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate SHOULD be bilingual (Frenchamp; English), exceptionally organized, and have proven capabilities in multi-tasking and prioritizing workloads.
  • The ideal candidate must be well-versed in technology.
  • Training is offered, however, the candidate must be willing and able to learn easily.
  • Knowledge of specific residential property management software like:Proprio Expert, Hopem, Primo Residential or Yardi (Breeze or Voyager) an asset.
  • Knowledge of other software like:Sage or Quickbooks an asset.
Our group has a stellar reputation and has been in business for 75 years.Main Responsibilities:
  • Work with all sets of books:
  • Revenue, payables, customers, suppliers etc.
  • Ensure rent roll is accurate and that billings are being made promptly.
  • Data Entry
  • Ensure notices are being sent and followed up with tenants.
  • Be adept with new IT introduction
  • Provide accurate and timely information
  • Responsible for books
  • Work with controller, CPA, tax, property manager(s), fellow staff and of course be easy to work with.
