• Position: Landscape Construction Foreperson.
• Location: Hannon, ON.
• Pay: $25-33 per hour.
• Benefitsamp; Pension after probationary period.
• Annual boot allowance after one year of employment.

Job Duties:Landscape Construction Foreperson related to the landscape construction industry. This position will involve assisting in the daily management of construction projects for Oakridge Landscape Contractors. This position also includes the use of numerous types of related equipment.Role and Responsibilities:

• Manage labour force, equipment usage, materials, and sub-trades on the project
• Log hours worked for the crew member EVERY day using Field Time
• Be familiar with each employee #39;s responsibilities.
• Keep and maintain project blueprints and specifications in good order.
• Carry a Smartphone and respond to all calls in a prompt and proper manner
• Represent Oakridge as an organization to clients in a positive and professional manner.
• Maintain a good working relationship with your staff.
• Attend and participate in meetings (project, management, safety, etc)
• Ensure that quality workmanship is evident in each project
• Inspect each project on the day of its closing so as to ensure that all aspects of our work are complete
• Be able to measure your production targets and be prepared to be accountable for any shortfalls
• Know when to alert your Superintendent when you think there is going to be a problem at the start, middle, or end of a job. If possible suggest ways to improve the problem
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• 3-5 years experience in the Landscape Construction Field and Crew management
• Must have a valid driver G Class, “DZ quot; orquot;AZ quot; license.
• Clean Driver’s Abstract.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools, and equipment required to complete various landscape/construction practices.
• Meet with subcontractors and supervise quality, efficiency, and deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of job safety and safe work habits.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work long hours and the occasional Saturday.
