Job Description

  • $25- $40 per hour, depending on experience/certification.
  • Benefits after 3 months.

JOB DUTIES:The position of Landscape Construction Skilled Trades – Stone Mason/Bricklayer will involve the daily management of landscape construction projects for Oakridge Landscape Contractors.
  • Read sketches and blueprints to calculate the materials required.
  • Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks using various hand tool and power tools.
  • Prepare and lay bricks and concrete blocks, stone, and structural tiles to construct walls, foundations and other structures in residential and commercial construction.
  • Lay bricks or other masonry shells of industrial chimneys and fireplaces.
  • Lay bricks, stone to provide veneer facing to walls or other surfaces.
  • Construct and install prefabricated masonry units.
  • Lay bricks or other masonry units to build patios, garden walls and other decorative installations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must have a valid driver #39;s G class license.
  • Must maintain a clean driver abstract.
  • Must have 5 or more years of field experience.
  • Ability to read landscape blueprints.
  • Strong knowledge of elevations (grading), ability to use a laser level and transit.
  • General knowledge or recognition of hard landscape materials i.e. bricks, concrete stone, natural stone, paving stone, precast wall, etc.
  • Strong knowledge on the use of various tools and equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of job safety and safe work habits.
  • Day shift position.
