Safety certified commercial general contracting company looking to hire a Carpenter· Skilled carpenter and a good problem solver· Strong work ethic and the ability to plan and prioritize tasks· Minimum 4 years’ experience· Ability to read blueprints/specifications to determine method of installation, work procedures, materials and tool requirements to complete a task· Work on a variety of small projects, consisting of office renovations, commercial fit-ups and some institutional work· Ability to work with our safety coordinator to complete hazard assessments, lead tool box meetings and practice constant housekeeping as required or are willing to participate· Demonstrate skills in the operation of shop tools and hand operated power tools· Work with a helper and sub-contractors alike· Valid driver’s license with clean record, reliable transportation· Clean criminal record· Safety training such as WHIMIS and First Aid are assetsIf this is you, please contact, with availability date, expected wage and 3 references for review.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $22.00-$28.00 per hourSchedule:
