Job Description

On behalf of our client in Vancouver, Ignite Technical Resources is looking for a Senior Business/Functional Analyst with our client for a 12-month contract with extensions.Summary of Role:The Business Analyst provides technology planning, business analysis, requirements definition, systems design review and client support services. Provides technical and project management expertise for multiple, concurrent, medium-sized projects from initiation to completion. The business analyst will analyze existing and new business processes, determine and define business requirements and develop process maps that are translated into functional specifications. This particular project is about assisting the client with making the transition from Dynamics 2012 R3 to D365.Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates joint technology planning sessions with clients
  • Translates business requirements into technical specifications
  • Conducts research for business cases, including cost-benefit analysis
  • Leads small to medium-complex projects and develops project plans
  • Provides work direction, performance feedback, and monitors project progress
  • Implements procedures, documents changes, and supports clients in problem resolution
  • Participates in procurement processes and contributes to software development
  • Ensures compliance with business processes
  • Designs, supports and conducts system testing
  • Delivers training and provides systems production support
Qualification:
  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics Financeamp; Operations 2012 and 365.
  • Someone who has assisted other clients to migrate from 2012 to 365, the on-premise version and has lots of experience understanding and migrating large volumes of data
