Renowned for our commitment to excellence, safety, and quality, we are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Site Supervisor to join our growing team.Position Overview:As a Site Supervisor, you will be a pivotal leader responsible for overseeing the entire construction process, ensuring projects are executed with precision, adhering to safety standards, and delivering exceptional results. This role demands strong leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to proactively address challenges.Responsibilities:Project Planning and Execution:

  • Lead and coordinate all aspects of construction projects, from pre-construction planning to completion.
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop comprehensive project schedules and ensure their timely execution.
  • Manage project budgets, expenses, and resources efficiently.
Site Operations and Safety:
  • Supervise and inspire on-site construction teams, fostering a collaborative and safety-first culture.
  • Conduct thorough site inspections, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and project specifications.
Communication and Collaboration:
  • Serve as the primary liaison between construction teams, project managers, subcontractors, and management.
  • Conduct regular progress meetings, providing updates on project milestones and addressing concerns.
  • Liaise with authorities for inspections, permits, and approvals.
Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:
  • Proactively identify and address challenges, implementing effective solutions to maintain project continuity.
  • Exercise sound judgment and decision-making skills to overcome obstacles and ensure project success.
Quality Assurance and Documentation:
  • Ensure all work meets rigorous quality standards and aligns with relevant building codes and regulations.
  • Conduct meticulous inspections at critical project milestones, maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily reports and inspection records and rectifying any deviations.
Team Leadership and Mentorship:
  • Provide strong leadership and mentorship to construction team members, cultivating a positive work environment.
  • Address personnel issues promptly, encouraging open communication and conflict resolution.
Reporting and Progress Tracking:
  • Regularly report project status to project managers, highlighting achievements and addressing challenges.
  • Track and analyze project progress, ensuring alignment with established timelines and goals.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety protocols.
  • Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Familiarity with inspection processes and requirements.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans; familiarity with Contractor Foreman software is an asset.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or a degree in construction management is a plus.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English is an asset.
