A flexo press operator utilizes various flexographic printing press machines that can print on all sorts of paper, and plastic.
As a flexo press operator, your primary duties include preparing the press for printing, loading metal dies, tools, and blades for cutting, must be able to lift 25 - 50 lbs safely, also including filling ink and calibrating the machine, feeding the paper into the machine, and troubleshooting any issues that might arise during printing.
You also need to accurately read job printing orders and follow their specifications, so attention to detail is one of the most beneficial skills to have.
The qualifications for this career include a high school diploma and a few years of training, schooling, or hands-on experience working in the flexography industry and or offset printing.
